V6’s Okada Junichi thanks fans for coming to his “SP” film premier

“SP the Motion Picture: Yabou volume” which stars V6 member Okada Junichi, premiered on October 30th, and the main cast -Okada Junichi, Tsutsumi Shinichi, and Maki Yoko – appeared at ‘TOHO Cinemas Scala-za’ to greet the audience.

Even though the weather was terrible because of the typhoon, the theater was packed full of eager fans. Okada thanked the audience for coming, saying, “I’m happy that you came here to watch the movie in this bad weather. We faced many stumbling blocks to film the action scenes, but we overcame it together with the director, staff, and cast members.”

Okada started preparing for the action scenes two years ago, and was involved even in the initial processes for the movie.

“SP Yabou volume” is a sequel to the drama series, which aired in 2007; it’s the first volume of the two-part movie. The final half, “SP Kakumei volume” will be released on March 12, 2011.
